To access City Sewer and Water Utilities (where available) if not already in a property, a Water/Sewer Tap-In/Buy-In Application must be completed and filed with the City. In an effort to assist residents, this form is available online. Once completed and submitted, a City Staff Member will contact you to set a tap-in appointment and discuss related fees.

Per Resolution 2001-010, paragraph 6 (dated February 5, 2001) of the Clare City Commission: "The City Commission hereby amends the current rate structure for water and sewer tap-ins/connections to a strict charge of actual time and materials to accomplish said tap-in/connection, said time and material rates to be based on current City labor, equipment, and material charges."

Water/Sewer Buy-In Application

Per Resolution 2001-011, paragraphs 6 & 7 (dated February 5, 2001) of the Clare City Commission: "...The City Commission deems that a buy-in fee should be established for the fiscal well-being of the water and sewer funds and to assist in defraying the costs of future capital improvements...and hereby approves the water and sewer buy-in fee schedule to be effective immediately."
